only 3 more days

Caidan is due in only 3 more days, but I wish he could arrive today! Oh well he will come when he is ready. Yesterday we had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Bob and Dorothy Hessons house. We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! Here are some recent pictures of us.

Work Shower

The teachers and staff threw me a surprise baby shower. It was so very nice and everyone at the school was there. We received many wonderful presents. Thank You to everyone!!

Halloween Fever!

We went to the pumpkin patch tonight and it was so much fun. Sunnie sniffed out the pumpkin we got. She knows which ones are the best ones. If you look closely my stomach is bigger than many of the pumpkins there. Jim did all the carving and I supervised. Now we are officially set for Halloween. This time next year we will have our little pumpkin Caidan to help out at the pumkin patch. Happy Halloween!

Oct 11th Baby furniture arrives!!

We got the baby furniture on Oct. 11th and Dad and Uncle Matt helped set it up. Good times! Lots of fun tales about U-Haul to be told. Getting the furniture to the house is a whole other story.

Greek Festival

We went to the Greek Festival on October 10 and had gyros and looked around. Pretty mellow, but overall a fun "cheap"date. $7 dollar parking for an hour..what!?!?

Painted the Nursery

Jim and I painted the nursery the other day. We are still waiting on the furniture to arrive. The pictures just show the design on the walls and later I will be able to post new pictures when the nursery is complete. It was a lot of fun painting the nursery with Jimmy. He really like being able to do something for the baby.
We added a white gloss chair rail, very light blue paint on the top, beige paint on the bottom and put brown circles on top of the beige paint. Im really happy with the results. I can't wait for Caidan to see his new room!

New Belly Picture- now 32 weeks!

You can see that Caidan sits pretty low. Looks not so much like a basketball, but more like a tear drop.
I went to the chiropractor yesterday to get "adjusted" a little sore today, but I'm sure it helps. Since Caidan is so low he is putting pressure on my lower back and as you can see by the picture I have a naturally arched back.
I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and we will see how everything is. So far he is kicking and moving like normal and on occasion he gets the hickups. I love when he gets those, they are pretty funny.

I think my belly popped!- 25 weeks

Today I finally noticed that my belly is popping out. Most of my clothes are super tight and I feel awkward sitting sometimes. The baby moves all the time and Jimmy can really feel the kicks now! We are so excited, not much longer.

Its a Boy! 7/1/08

We had a doctor's visit on July 1st. It was very a very exciting sonogram. We found out that its a boy! His name is Caden Thomas Hesson. Everything is looking good! The only discrepancy is that the Doc said that I am gaining a little too much weight, of course! But not too bad, only about 5 pounds too much, so now I just have too really watch what I eat. So much for eating for two! Here is a pic of me at 18 weeks and a few sonogram pics. I love being pregnant and I think but Im not 100 percent sure that Im starting to feel the baby move?! How exciting. I love being pregnant.

Father's Day

For an early Father's Day present I took Jim to Blue Springs. It was so much fun, we got to swim with Manatees and huge fish. We had a really nice getaway. Here are some pics of me at 16 weeks.

Good Stuff!

We are truly blessed to have so many good things coming our way.
First, today is our 2 year Anniversary. I am so happy to be with such a loving husband. I know he is going to be an amazing father!
We also closed on our condo last night. So happy that is gone and out of our hair onto the next adventure in our lives. We now live in St. Augustine Beach (its like a dream).
Plus Jimmy just received an offer for an internship. We are very excited. All our prayers were definately answered!!
We are so joyful about all the wonderful things God has put in our path. A new year in marriage and lots of new exciting life changes on the way!!

First Baby Picture!

Here is our first baby picture taken on May 1, 2008. We saw a flashing light on the sonogram and that was the heart beat. It was going so fast!! We don't know if its a boy or a girl yet. We are so happy to have a new addition to our family. Here is the sonogram picture at 9 1/2 weeks.
